Staff Management SMX is looking for a Field Technician - Bilingual (Spanish) in the Largo, FL area. This is a Direct Hire position with great benefits.
As a Bilingual Field Technician, you will be responsible for the performance of a variety of electro-mechanical technical services at the customer site and supporting law enforcement agencies with Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) support.

Job Responsibilities
- Receive and review dispatch documentation including work instructions, travel instructions and test protocols.
- Manage travel expenses and other administrative duties in accordance with administrative procedures.
- Be familiar with mechanical and electrical precision measuring tools such as digital multi-meter, amp meter and mechanical precision tools.
- Using schematic diagrams and work instructions to troubleshoot replace and test electrical
- Mechanical line replacement components. Key Competencies External / Internal Customer Focus
- Primary focus of work is to always exceed the customer's expectations.
- Meet and exceed customer's needs.
- Must be able to pass a background check, education & employment verification.
- Must be US Citizen or permanent resident card.
Required skills :
- Good knowledge of computer operating systems such as Windows NT, Windows , XP, .
- College degree in computer systems or related technologies. Equivalent experience will be considered, instead of a degree.
- 3+ years experience in electromechanical assembly and component repairs, preferably in a field service role.
Day-to-day job responsibilities can include :
- Setting up and testing ballistics equipment so looking for experience with computer systems, and electro-mechanical assembly.
- 80% travel anywhere in the US & South America, depending on needs.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequent
