Basic Functions :
Under work direction from the Production Team, the Apprentice Carpenter learns standard entry level carpentry methods and techniques.
The work is accomplished in an actual on-the-job situation and is supplemented by ongoing support and training.
Basic Requirements :
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Some Carpentry Experience is a plus, but not required
- Highly Organized
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- High level Communicator
- Dependable transportation
- Cell phone

- Drivers License

Overall Duties Include :
- Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients
- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding
- Measure, cut, or shape wood and other materials
- Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes
- Help erect, level, and install building framework
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
- Perform finish work involving light electrical, plumbing, and HVAC

Hours :
Typical hours are 7 : 30-4 : 30, but can vary depending on workload
Reward :
- Compensation is evaluated on a yearly basis effective from the start date of employment of each calendar year. An annual reward planner (ARP) is completed at that time.
- Promotions and advancement within the position bring progressively greater challenge, learning, responsibility, and compensation.
