\nRegistered Nurse – Telemetry - Travel - (Tele RN)\n

\nStartDate : ASAP \nAvailable Shifts : 12 N \nPay Rate : $1897.82 - $2091.47 \n

\nThe Medical Oncology unit receives overflow of populations such as surgery and medical patients at times. Nursing staff \nanalyze cardiac rhythms on their patients; we are not monitored by monitor techs. BLS is required upon hire; ACLS \n(Advanced Cardiac Life Support) is recommended to be obtained within one year.\nSkills that will be utilized are administering chemotherapy, continuous infusion medication management, pain management, wound vac dressing changes, wound drains, central lines, tracheotomy patients, chest tubes, IV start skills, \nperipheral lab draws, arterial blood draws, various intravenous drips i.e. cardiac, insulin, heparin, and cardiac monitoring. Work collaboratively with other disciplines such as Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Recreational Therapy, Unit \nbased Dietitian, Pharmacist, Case Management, and Social Work.\nServices also include patient education related to chemotherapy, radiation, associated procedures, disease processes, management, diagnostic procedures, and trach care.\n\n

Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse, Telemetry\nExperience : 2 years\nLicenses : RN(Compact Accepted)\nCertifications : BLS\n\nStrong Oncology background and Phlebotomy skills

Must be able to read and interpret strips\n

Preferred Qualifications

EPIC

ONS certification preferred.\n
