Job description

Antenna is an integrated marketing and communications agency focused on climate, real estate, mobility, health, and more. We combine deep domain knowledge with proven integrated marketing solutions to help innovative, impact-driven companies amplify their vision, supercharge their growth, and inspire action. We believe that conscious brands can deliver consequential change because brand impact demands brand cognizance.

We are looking for an individual who can contribute a diverse perspective and new ideas to the Antenna community. We celebrate differences among our staff and encourage everyone to be their authentic selves. We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and remain committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, supportive, and respectful environment where each Ant feels a sense of dignity, belonging, and acceptance.

Antenna is seeking an accomplished Executive Vice President of Corporate Finance to lead the agency’s financial strategy, planning, and analytics functions. This role serves as the most senior financial leader in the organization, responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and data‑driven insight that fuels sustainable growth.

As a key member of Antenna’s executive leadership team, the EVP will play a critical role in shaping agency strategy, profitability models, and operational decision‑making. They will oversee corporate accounting and compliance while primarily focusing on strategic planning aspects of finance – including forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, and performance reporting. This leader will develop the systems, analytics, and frameworks that enable smarter decision‑making throughout the business.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the EVP of Corporate Finance will serve as a strategic advisor and business partner – guiding Antenna’s financial strategy, elevating performance visibility, and shaping the agency’s future‑state financial infrastructure.

This role is based in New York or New Jersey.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead the agency’s financial strategy, planning, and analysis, providing forward‑looking insights that inform business and operational decisions.
  • Lead and coordinate the annual budgeting process, developing and maintaining financial models that allocate revenue and expenses across practice areas to drive visibility into profitability and performance, and aligning revenue and operating profit targets at both the division and agency levels to ensure financial plans reflect growth priorities, staffing capacity, and client performance.
  • Oversee financial forecasting processes to ensure Antenta’s financial plans reflect real business conditions – including resource allocation, project pipeline health, and anticipated revenue streams across business units.
  • Lead financial scenario planning, translating performance trends into actionable insights that guide hiring, compensation structures, pricing models, and investment priorities.
  • Partner with business development and practice leadership to scope and price new client engagements, ensuring proposals align with financial targets, staffing models, and margin objectives. Advise on commercial structures and contract terms.
  • Analyze monthly financial results (Actual Vs. Budget, Actual Vs. Prior Year), identifying variances and recommending corrective actions to meet revenue and profit targets.
  • Develop and maintain performance analytics and interactive dashboards that provide leadership with timely, actionable insights into client profitability, project margins, staffing costs, and forecast accuracy across business units.
  • Drive continuous improvement through insights that connect financial data to operational outcomes.
  • Serve as a driver of deal structure and due diligence for potential mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.

Corporate Accounting, Compliance, and Controls

  • Oversee all corporate accounting functions to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and operational integrity in partnership with Antenna’s third‑party accounting firm.
  • Collaborate closely with external accounting partners to manage the month‑end process, general ledger maintenance, and GAAP‑compliant financial reporting.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of payroll, tax, and audit requirements by coordinating with both internal staff and external partners.
  • Translate financial results into clear, narrative‑driven reporting that highlights key trends, risks, and opportunities for leadership review.
  • Establish and manage a standard monthly and quarterly reporting cadence that ensures timely, accurate, and actionable insights aligned with agency performance.
  • Oversee cash management, liquidity planning, and banking relationships to ensure adequate working capital and financial stability.
  • Support risk management and insurance oversight, ensuring appropriate coverage and compliance with financial and contractual requirements.
  • Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and documentation to maintain audit readiness, transparency, and compliance with best practices.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for accounting team members, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and payroll operations.
  • Collaborate with leadership to review and advise on major client and / or vendor contracts from a financial perspective to safeguard profitability and margin health.
  • Systems, Data & Integration

  • Own and optimize Sage as the agency’s primary financial system, ensuring accurate data structure and seamless integration with other systems.
  • Implement automation tools and processes to improve reporting efficiency, forecasting accuracy, and data accessibility.
  • Champion a single source of financial truth across the agency by improving system connectivity and financial data governance.
  • Oversee financial operations for Antenna’s international offices, including the UK and Prague, ensuring consistent accounting practices, accurate data integration, and compliance with local tax, employment, and reporting requirements.
  • Partner with external accounting firms in international markets to monitor risk, ensure adherence to regional regulations, and drive global financial standardization, ensuring all subsidiaries operate under unified controls and metrics.
  • Leadership & Cross‑Functional Partnership

  • Lead and mentor the Finance and Accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team, providing financial insight and guidance on strategic initiatives, investments, and organizational priorities.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to ensure financial accountability, forecasting discipline, and data‑driven decision‑making across teams.
  • Enhance financial literacy across the agency through education, visibility, and transparent communication of key metrics and performance drivers.
  • Represent the finance function in executive discussions, balancing rigor and flexibility in support of agency growth and innovation.
  • Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance and accounting.
  • Experience within a marketing, PR, or professional services organization is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; MBA and / or CPA strongly preferred.
