About the Role

We are seeking a strategic as well as hands-on Accounting Controller with a CPA license, a public accounting background, and extensive NetSuite experience to join our fast-growing consumer products company. This role is ideal for a finance leader who thrives in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and is passionate about building scalable accounting operations to support rapid business growth and transformation. Lead a team of seven.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting &Financial Operations

• Lead all aspects of accounting operations : general ledger, inventory control, accounts payable, accounts receivable, detailed review of inventory purchases, customer incentive programs, transportation spends, and customs duties. Monitor treasury position and cash forecasting, debt and tax compliance (sales tax and annual tax returns).
• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting in accordance with US GAAP.
• Prepare internal and external financial statements and reporting packages for executive leadership and lender.
• Manage annual audits and build strong relationships with external auditors and tax preparer.
• Setup and improve internal controls to prevent material weaknesses.
• NetSuite System Leadership
• Serve as the primary business owner for NetSuite ERP across the Accounting and Finance functions.
• Drive system optimization initiatives, including automation of workflows, customization of financial reporting, and integration of third-party systems (e.g., inventory management, e- commerce platforms).
• Lead training, documentation, and adoption of best practices across the team.
