Project Assistant - Electrical Construction (Redmond)

Job Description :

The Electrical Construction Project Engineer plays a critical role in supporting the successful execution of electrical construction projects. This individual is responsible for overseeing project administration, managing documentation, assisting with budgeting and scheduling, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. They will work closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate efficient project workflows and ensure timely completion.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Coordination & Administration :

oAssist project managers with day-to-day operations of electrical construction projects.

oCoordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes.

oManage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, purchase orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and shop drawings.

oMaintain an up to date overall project drawing set available for reference for field and office personnel

Contractor & Vendor Relations :

oCommunicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure the timely procurement of materials and services.

oManage and track the delivery of materials and equipment required for electrical work.

Compliance & Safety :

oTrack safety reports and incidents, ensuring that proper safety protocols are followed on site.

Scheduling & Resource Management :

oAssist in the updating of project schedules, coordinating timelines between project teams, contractors, and suppliers.

Reporting & Communication :

oPrepare regular project status updates for stakeholders, ensuring clear and concise reporting.

oProvide administrative support during client meetings and assist with project-related inquiries.

Quality Control :

oHelp ensure that quality control procedures are followed on-site.
