About The Position

Job Title : CVOR Tech

Profession : Surgical Services

Shift : Day 3x12-Hour

Hours per Shift : 07 : 00 - 19 : 30

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in CVOR

License : Must have a valid state license prior to start date

Certifications : BLS, NBSTSAS

Must-Have :

• Required scrub experience
• Ability to float to General OR
• Experience with special equipment including 2 Xi DaVinci Robots

Description :

This position requires an experienced CVOR Tech.

The tech will perform all surgical specialties except for transplant in a busy operating room environment.

The tech will participate in various procedures including but not limited to cardiovascular surgeries, such as Coronary Artery Bypass Graft and Mitral Valve Replacement.

Experience with complex instrumentation and robotic surgery is essential.

The tech must adhere to strict aseptic techniques and safety protocols.

Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team is important.

Floating to the General OR is required, so flexibility is necessary.

The unit has a diverse patient population including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Candidates should be proficient in using the Cerner charting system.

Maintaining a focus on quality patient care is a must.

The tech will be required to manage instruments and ensure proper sterilization practices.

There is a requirement for participation in weekend shifts and call as needed.

The ability to handle various surgical cases efficiently is critical to success in this role.
