As a Security Officer - Overnight Healthcare Facility in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will actively monitor designated areas and conduct routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and attentiveness will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, as you interact with staff, visitors, and patients while providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Assist hospital staff with de-escalation of situations involving patients; restrain combative individuals as necessary (within company and customer guidelines)Transport deceased patients to the morgue, as neededAssist in escorting patients from helicopter pad (high elevation) to the emergency roomProvide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies within a healthcare environmentRespond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitorsConduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or disturbancesObserve and report any irregularities, including property damage, unusual occurrences, or unauthorized persons, to client representatives and / or Allied Universal management as requiredAssist with access control and / or visitor management as necessary, maintaining a professional presence in the healthcare settingDocument all activities, observations, and incidents clearly and accurately in daily logs or incident reportsWhat We're Looking For :
At least 1 year of security-related experience is requiredAvailability across various days and shiftsReliability and ability to adapt to different post assignmentsA desire to gain broad experience and grow within the companyInterest in transitioning into full-time roles when availableMinimum Requirements :
