This position reports under the supervision of the principal and the athletic director and helps to coordinate and administrate the sport within the guidelines of the NFHS, the AIA, the Diocese of Phoenix, the school, the athletic department, and the specific conference. All work is performed within the policies and procedures of the athletic department and the school.
The coach contributes to fostering the Catholic School culture by serving as a witness to students and the community. The coach cooperates with Christ in the academic, spiritual, and social education of our high school students. Requires obtaining necessary certificates, ongoing professional development, and maintaining records as required by the school. Serves as a mentor and campus minister to all students.
This position requires effective communication via phone and email; completing duties accurately and on time; flexibility, forward thinking, deadline management; willingness to seek and implement the latest coaching practices; and the use of experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals with creativity and latitude.

Evaluation
Performance will be evaluated in accordance with procedures developed by the Diocese of Phoenix and Notre Dame Preparatory under the direction of the Principal and Athletic Director.
Terms of Employment
This is a stipend position based on the season of the sport coached. A schedule of mandatory days and extra responsibilities is provided prior to the start of each school year, as established by the Leadership Team under the Diocese of Phoenix.
