Position Summary : The CT Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures, supports patient care, and works closely with radiologists and technologists to ensure high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform a variety of CT diagnostic imaging procedures following department standards.
- Use age-specific criteria to ensure safe and appropriate testing.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, medical staff, and the public.
- Support quality control, performance improvement, and department goals.
- ct as a clinical and technical resource to radiologists and other technologists.
- Participate in call schedules, flexible work shifts, and department staffing needs.
Required Qualifications :
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.California Radiologic Technologist license (upon hire).BLS certification from the American Heart Association (upon hire).RRT certification in Radiography (R) (upon hire).RRT certification in CT (Computed Tomography) within 1 year of hire.Preferred Qualifications :
2+ years of experience performing CT scans in a hospital or outpatient imaging center.Experience with both pediatric and adult patients.
