This role requires demonstrated technical expertise in geospatial analytics, research, and product development within government and operational environments.

Job Description
- The Mid-Level Geospatial Research Analyst is responsible for conducting geospatial research and producing analytic products that support operational, strategic, and intelligence requirements. This includes analyzing spatial data, imagery, and related datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights relevant to mission objectives.
- The role involves developing and maintaining geospatial analytic products using Esri GIS platforms and related tools. The analyst may support data integration, spatial modeling, and visualization efforts, and contribute to geospatial databases and analytic workflows.
- Additional responsibilities include supporting DoD geospatial and all-source analysis and production efforts, collaborating with analysts and technical teams, and assisting in the supervision or coordination of research, analysis, and production activities as required. The analyst will ensure all products adhere to government standards, analytic tradecraft, and security requirements.
Required Qualifications and Experience
The contractor shall provide personnel who meet one of the following requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, GIS, Remote Sensing, Environmental Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a closely related discipline; or
- A minimum of five (5+) years of professional experience creating geospatial analytic products in the fields listed above or supporting DoD geospatial and all-source analysis and production efforts.
Candidates must have demonstrated experience in:
- Geospatial research and analysis.
- Producing geospatial analytic products in support of operational or intelligence missions.
- Supporting or supervising analytic research and production activities.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Strong geospatial analysis and research skills.
- Experience operating within government or DoD environments.
- Ability to apply analytic methodologies and tradecraft standards.
- Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary analytic and technical teams.
Education
- Bachelors degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Desirable Certifications and Technical Skills (Preferred, Not Required).
- Esri GIS technologies (e.g., ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS REST API).
- Programming and data technologies such as Python, R, JSON, HTML/XML, SQL, NoSQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) methodologies.
- All-Source Intelligence analytic methodologies.
Clearance Requirement
- An active security clearance at the level specified by the program is required, or the ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance.
