Responsibilities
Position Summary : The Inventory Control Coordinator maintains the inventory database and ensures daily inventory levels meet distribution and operational needs.
- Entering data into the inventory database about quantities of issued and transferred parts and inventory
- Resolving inventory shortage discrepancies
- Receiving manufactured parts into stock and issuing them to upcoming jobs
- Consolidating manufactured parts to maximize shelf space
- Assisting in daily tasks to assure productivity and efficiency
- Identifying parts through the use of SAP and drawings
- Auditing locations for part and count accuracy (e.g., work order and 3-Stage put-away checks)
- Investigating missing stock parts needed for work orders and sales orders
- Monitoring and maintaining an updated shortage list for the Inventory Management team
- Ensuring compliance with Daifuku's QMS policies and procedures
- Contributing to sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement and exceptional customer satisfaction
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent preferredMinimum 1 year of inventory control experienceKnowledge, Skills, And Abilities Requirements
