POSITION OVERVIEW :
- Rooming patients
- Taking vitals
- Assisting with testing
- Documentation
- Representing the University in a positive, professional manner with patients and staff.
- Cleaning
- Maintaining stock

SKILLS :
- Medical Assistant certification
- Externship as part of certification is minimum experience level
- Fluent in English
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to take vitals and other basic clinical functions
WORK ENVIRONMENT :
- Mostly outpatient clinical environment
- Employees are usually assigned to clinics in the Taubman Center, the Cancer Center (attached to University Hospital), or one of the UM clinics at Domino's Farms.
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 including booster if eligible.
- New employees should expect to allow extra time to find their department on their first day.
