Development Management Manager - Manufacturing Execution

ABOUT THE ROLE :

The Systems Development Engineering Manager will develop, modify and execute policies to ensure the organization's software applications are effective, efficient and provide a seamless experience for end-users. They translate, drive and implement the strategy and success of larger projects contributing to the strategic vision in softwaredevelopment projects and providing guidance for the entire development lifecycle. They oversee teams whose goal is to lead the design, development, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage systems, and software components and establish objectives, policies and procedures. They frequently advise teams on moderately complex matters relating to the development, integration, and implementation of application components of web-centric applications.

WHAT THE ROLE WILL DO :

Leadership & Supervision

• Tactical decision-maker, Handles unforeseen issues.
• Manages activities of two or more disciplines or a department. Oversees experienced level professionals and / or may be responsible for subordinate managers.
• Frequently advises team(s) on moderately complex matters.
• Responsible for supporting the talent strategy through hiring, onboarding, learning & development, performance, succession planning, engagement, recognition, and inclusion, diversity, and equity practices.
• Responsible for fostering a work environment that encourages employees to act with integrity and respect.
• Responsible for setting employee objectives and expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing meaningful feedback, and mentorship.
• Responsible for supporting employee career development.
• Erroneous decisions will result in critical delay(s) in schedules and / or unit operations and may jeopardize overall business activities.

WHAT THE INCUMBENT WILL NEED :

Bachelor's degree or higher in the Information Technology (IT) field. In lieu of a degree, at least 10 years of experience in IT
