Traveling Quality Control Manager
We are seeking a Traveling Quality Control Manager (QCM) to oversee quality control for dredging projects. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of construction quality control and has full authority to act on all QCM matters. The QCM will be onsite throughout construction, serving as the liaison between the contractor and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).
Key responsibilities include managing and enforcing construction quality control for assigned projects, submitting daily QC reports through RMS (specific to dredging projects), providing surveys and documentation to USACE via RMS, ensuring subcontractors use correct materials; conducting spot checks with USACE, and maintaining clear communication with Project Managers and Site Managers.
Required skills and expertise include USACE standards and RMS reporting, construction quality control (CQC / CQM), dredging and marine construction, excavation, bridge, levee, and waterway projects, and OSHA 30 compliance. Federal construction experience is also required.
Minimum qualifications include USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors certification, 3+ years of quality control experience, proficiency in Primavera P6, and MS Office.

This is a contract position based out of Houston, TX, with a pay range of $50.00 - $55.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
