Title : Director of Mental Health

Report to : VP of Permanent Supportive Housing / VP of Transitional Housing

Status : Part-Time (20 hours per week)

Compensation : $70,000 / Annually

Work Schedule : Monday - Thursday (On-site), 10 : 00am – 3 : 00pm.

Office Location : Brooklyn, NY 11208

Position Summary :

The Director of Mental Health will serve as the primary liaison between the agency and other agencies in the mental health continuum (e.g., state hospital, community case management, adult foster care homes, etc.).

Supervisory Responsibilities :

• Directs the day-to-day operations of the program and implements programmatic and administrative policies and procedures to attain program goals and objectives.
• Supervises the service staff, evaluates employee performance, and makes recommendations for human resources actions to the mental health vice president.
• Makes programmatic and administrative recommendations to the mental health vice president in accordance with the agency / program goals and objectives.
