Key Responsibilities :
Clinical Floor Leadership & Workflow Management
- Oversee day-to-day activities on the clinical floor to ensure smooth, predictable patient flow.
- Serve as the primary point of support for clinical staff, physicians, and advanced practice providers
- Identify bottlenecks proactively and implement workflow improvements that enhance efficiency and patient experience.
- Support team communication by facilitating daily huddles, clarifying responsibilities, and reinforcing expectations.
- Provide real-time coaching, troubleshooting, and problem-solving to keep operations moving seamlessly.
Team Support & Development
Foster a positive, collaborative culture that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.Support onboarding and mentoring of clinical team members, ensuring consistency in training and expectations.Provide feedback to staff and leadership regarding performance observations, resource needs, and operational challenges.Backup Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities
(Performed only when needed to support staffing or patient volumes)
Conduct diagnostic X-ray exams following established protocols and safety guidelines.Ensure proper patient positioning, image quality, and timely delivery of images to providers.Maintain readiness of the X-ray room, including supply stocking, equipment checks, and daily opening / closing procedures.Adhere to all radiation safety standards (ALARA), HIPAA requirements, and practice compliance protocols.Operational Support & Collaboration
Partner with the operations and clinical teams to maintain high standards of patient care and efficiency.Support coordination of room assignments, provider flow, and clinical task distribution.Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues and communicating needs to vendors or internal technical support.Help maintain a clean, well-organized clinical environment and ensure exam rooms stay stocked and orderly.Quality, Safety & Compliance
Model and uphold best practices in patient safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance.Help ensure clinical processes are consistent, compliant, and aligned with practice policies.Support physicians and staff with escalated patient issues, operational concerns, or workflow disruptions.Qualifications
Required :
Active state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.Previous experience performing diagnostic X-rays.Preferred :
2+ years of experience in a clinical leadership, team lead, or supervisor role.Experience in a multi-provider outpatient practice or specialty clinic.Strong communication skills with the ability to guide, coach, and support diverse clinical teams.Ability to remain calm, resourceful, and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment.Comfortable balancing hands-on clinical work with leadership responsibilities.Tools & Equipment
