Seasonal Equipment Operator

Salary : $23 per hour
Summary
The Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe operation of all equipment within the Service Center. Duties may include accurately moving, stacking, and loading product, consolidating, and staging pallets for putaway. The position requires being taken up to 30 feet in the air on equipment. Automation Operators' duties include ensuring maximum throughput, first level troubleshooting of equipment problems including use of computer logs, and communicating labor needs to maximize the running hours of the machinery. All operators must be able to certify on any machine within the warehouse as business needs dictate. Seasonal positions will last for 90 days with the option to extend based on business needs.
1st shift : Monday-Thursday 7 : 00am-5 : 30pm
Minimum / Preferred Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 6 months of previous equipment operations experience highly preferred.
- Basic proficiency in speaking and understanding English to comprehend safety instructions, participate in safety drills and effectively communicate in case of emergencies.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to communicate using various methods. Kneeling, stooping, using stairs, reaching, pulling and moving weights of 0-25 pounds constantly and 25-40 pounds occasionally and over 40 pounds seldomly with or without assistance as needed. Ability to move up to 40 pounds at least 25 feet in distance occasionally with assistance as needed.
