We're seeking a Senior Design Engineer to take on a leadership role within our Engineering team, driving the design and engineering of signage solutions while mentoring peers and influencing process improvements.

In this crucial role, you will be responsible for leading design engineering efforts that balance creativity, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness. This in-office role is based in Altoona, Pennsylvania, and plays a key role in shaping project outcomes, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting the continuous improvement of our design and engineering processes. What you'll be doing :

• Take ownership of major design projects and ensure deliverables meet both customer expectations and internal standards.
• Lead development of signage design packages with an emphasis on manufacturability, cost efficiency, and quality.
• Work directly with customers and sales teams to influence design direction and solve technical challenges.
• Drive product life-cycle activities including prototyping, testing, and implementation of design improvements.
• Lead formal mentorship and training efforts for junior and mid-level design engineers.
• Champion process improvement initiatives, introducing new tools, standards, and workflows.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert on best practices in design and engineering.
