Physical Therapist

This is a 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week) pediatric physical therapist position at Gillette Children's. The primary site for the position is our 9550 Upland Lane North, Maple Grove, MN 55369 location and the candidate may be required to travel occasionally to other Gillette sites. The physical therapist position requires practicing in various settings including outpatient, telehealth, and occasional holiday weekend rotation on the inpatient unit.

Due to a current remodeling construction happening at the Maple Grove Clinic, we are targeting a start date of late Spring for this role.

Schedule : 4 - 10 hour shifts / week.

Provides direct and indirect family centered therapy services for patients to increase functional abilities, independence and community integration. Contributes to department, program and service teams to assure achievement of desired outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits Information

The hourly wage for this opportunity is $36.45 to $54.64, with a median wage of $45.54 / hour. Pay is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification & licensure, and internal equity. Hourly pay just one part of the compensation package for employees. • Completes an evaluation utilizing principles of family-centered care.
• Implements a therapy care plan utilizing principles of family-centered care.
• Completes necessary administrative and procedural tasks in a timely manner.
• Completes training in essential job competencies.

Qualifications

Required :

Physical Therapy State License

Knowledge : transition from pediatric to adult health and rehabilitation care and of rehabilitation practice for adults with Childhood onset disabilities.
