Overview

Electrical Engineering Manager Solar role at Payne + Dolan | A Walbec Group Company. The position focuses on leading a team delivering designs, permitting, and interconnection for solar projects, from ground-mounted arrays to rooftop installations. Remote with travel up to 30% of the year; offices in Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Foster a culture of excellence and innovation
• Managing and mentoring the engineering team, providing guidance, support and fostering professional growth
• Drive technological advancements, stay up to date with industry trends
• Ensure adherence to best practices, industry regulations and quality assurance processes
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Oversee, direct and execute engineering designs (civil, electrical, mechanical) and permitting efforts for a range of energy sector projects
• Lead a team in delivering designs and permitting for solar projects, including interconnection
