Manufacturing Associate II - Upstream/Downstream Processes

MUST BE COMFORTABLE with 12-hour shifts, Day or Night Shift (6pm - 6am) working 2-2-3 Schedule (36 hours one week and 48 the next)
Starting salary is $22.00 / hr. (Overtime and differential pay for nights and weekends)
The main areas you will be working in within the biomanufacturing process is Downstream (Purification) and Upstream (Cell Culture) .
You will process steps and manage support activities and operations of process equipment; execution of validation protocols;
creating / revising cGMP documents and other assignments; using cGMP practices in Biosafety cabinets and Cleanroom suites.

Skills needed for Success :
- At least 1 year of experience
- Detail oriented with excellent documentation skills (batch records, SLRs, and logbooks)
- Ability to perform and learn operations and / or support the team
- Motivated to perform most functions with minimal supervision
- Experience monitoring processes against batch records & control systems
Qualifications :
- Working with Logbooks and SOPs
- Experience using Delta V
- Chromatography, Buffer Prep, Purification, and extraction
- Media Prep, Isolation, Cell Culture, Seed Train, and Harvesting
- Mechanically inclined
- Strong peer and team leadership skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a professional and courteous manner
- Ability to bend, twist, lift up to 50lbs and stand for up to 3 hours at a time, required
Education :
Preferred : 2 year or bachelor’s degrees in the Sciences and 6+ months experience
Minimum : Biowork certification with High School degree (or equivalent) and 1+ year experience
