Job Summary :
We are seeking a bilingual (English / Spanish) , detail-oriented, and client-focused Account Manager to join our Employee Benefits team, specializing in Small Group (1100 employees) . This role manages ongoing client relationships and supports the implementation and administration of group benefit programs, including Section 125 Cafeteria Plans , Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRA) , and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) . The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and passionate about providing exceptional service to a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities :
- Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of small group clients, providing day-to-day support and guidance on employee benefits.
- Educate and assist clients in understanding plan design, enrollment processes, and compliance with Section 125, HRA, and FSA regulations.
- Deliver clear, effective communication and benefit presentations in both English and Spanish to clients and their employees.
- Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to manage enrollments, terminations, renewals, and billing inquiries.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory changes affecting employee benefits, particularly ACA and IRS rules.
- Maintain accurate client records in the agency management system and ensure timely follow-up on service issues.
- Collaborate with producers and other account team members to support client retention and satisfaction.
Qualifications :
Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.3+ years of experience in employee benefits, account management, or insurance servicespreferably with small group clients.Strong working knowledge of Section 125 Plans , HRAs , and FSAs .Familiarity with group medical, dental, vision, life, and ancillary insurance plans.Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and benefits administration platforms (e.g., Ease, Employee Navigator, or similar).Active Life & Health InsuranceCompensation & Benefits :
