Overview

Shift :   Part-Time, hours will be alternating between 6 : 00 am - 10 : 00 pm, for 36 hours per pay period.

Responsibilities

Assist nurses and providers with patient care in labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care

Provide comfort and support to mothers and families

Monitor vital signs and report changes promptly

Help with daily activities such as hygiene, mobility, and feeding support

Keep patient rooms stocked, organized, and welcoming

Ensure a safe and caring environment for every patient and baby

Qualifications

Education :

  • High School Diploma / GED or currently and actively working towards completion of Diploma / GED
  • Certification / License :

  • Prefer candidates that have successfully completed the CNA program and are active on the Iowa Direct Care Registry
  • Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within 3 months from date of hire
