GIS Specialist

A company is looking for a GIS Specialist to support carbon project validation and verification through geospatial data analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain audit-ready geospatial datasets and documentation for carbon projects

Produce high-quality cartographic outputs and map products for reports and presentations

Perform land suitability assessments using remote sensing technologies

Required Qualifications

Experience with voluntary carbon market projects and familiarity with Verra VCS standards

3+ years of experience with Esri or QGIS tools focused on design and cartographic production

Proficiency in Python or R for geospatial automation and data analysis

Experience with Google Earth Engine for remote sensing analysis

Basic proficiency in PostgreSQL / PostGIS
