ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Hiring Range : $85,000 - $100,000
The Operations & Business Analyst plays a key role in the Healthcare Services organization by applying operational expertise across all areas of assigned operational business streams. This role collaborates with operational leadership, cross-functional departments, and subject matter experts to ensure financial, customer service, and other organizational goals are optimally accomplished. The Analyst leverages strong business acumen, industry knowledge, and extensive operational leadership background to add value to diverse healthcare operational initiatives. They perform a broad spectrum of activities based on assigned operations focus, objectives, and priorities at any given time and may directly or indirectly provide direction or oversight to Performant team members. The Analyst also collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business process requirements, translating operational needs into scalable workflows and actionable specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, gather, and integrate data from multiple internal and external sources.
- Develop and evaluate a wide variety of business intelligence analytics.
- Work with leaders to analyze the business operations of healthcare service lines or businesses of Performant Healthcare.
- Act as a strategic liaison between operations and technology teams, ensuring seamless communication and alignment to drive process improvements, system enhancements, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Present recommendations to multiple audiences (including Executive team) in a coherent and clear format.
- Leverage strong project management and business operations expertise to drive or contribute to key initiatives developing operational best practices, continuous improvement, and optimization.
- Drive quarterly results for a high-growth, industry-leading business.
- Evaluate existing and develop new policies, procedures, and workflows continually seeking mechanisms to streamline and optimize results for clients, reduce costs, and increase revenue.
- Provide input to planning, forecasting, and goal setting, as well as measurement of process and program effectiveness, and productivity.
- Provide operational thought leadership and may include day-to-day management oversight for operational group(s).
- Provide consultative input to healthcare business leadership on a wide variety of operational matters.
- Foster positive proactive relationships with clients.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed
Strong leadership and consultative skills with demonstrated success in player / coach roles with responsibility for operational success in revenue, expense management, client success and satisfaction.Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare commercial claim audit, COB, and TPL Healthcare services.Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capability.Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple projects, as well as direct and indirect resources concurrently.Complex data analysis, financial modeling and forecasting skills.Ability to analyze, map, and document business data flow for complex multi-faceted businesses.Demonstrated knowledge of process improvement and change management techniques that successfully propel forward organization movement.Ability to prioritize and deliver on key strategic initiatives.Demonstrated ability apply strong claims, Commercial TPL, and COB knowledge to optimize operations and problem solve.Strong system skills with ability to quickly develop expertise in new systems and applications.Intermediate to Advance skills in Excel and data modeling applications.Demonstrated excellence in leadership skills with the ability to lead teams that produce results, change management, and maintain positive attitude in fast paced, dynamic environment.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional team members at all levels in the organization.Experience providing meaningful insights and advise to key operational leaders that lead to measurable positive business impacts.Ability to build and maintain credibility, trust, and strong relationships both internal and external to the organization and with all levels of audience from individual contributor to executive.Possess ability to lead in a team environment where collaboration to solve problems, generate solutions and the knowledge transfer process are critical for success.Demonstrated experience interpreting and presenting strategic insights and recommendations to various audiences.Ability to deal well with ambiguity. Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field. A combination of experience, knowledge and training may be considered in the absence of a completed degree.Minimum of 8 years progressive experience in operational leadership roles with demonstrated revenue and business growth impact and increasing responsibilities and multiple lines of business.Depth and breadth of experience in relevant healthcare services industry.Demonstrated success building and leading operational teams with significant revenue accountability.WHAT WE OFFER
