Market, underwrite and service independent agents, brokers, and contract accounts and provide surety bonds for construction firms, manufacturers and suppliers, and commercial enterprises for corporations and individuals.

• Develop growth and profitability plans, including cross-selling strategies for all surety lines.
• Conduct meetings with agents and contractors to develop and maintain close relationships.
• Travel to meet with agents, account executives, and bond principals in assigned territory.
• Appoint new agency relationships that have a core focus on surety development.
• Work with agencies to identify opportunities and write new accounts.
• Evaluate principals, operationally and financially, for surety credit.
• Approve bonds and programs within assigned authority.
• Evaluate and interpret bonds, contracts, credit reports, and loan agreements.
• Recommend underwriting decision on bonds or accounts exceeding authority.
• Perform analysis and recording activity in underwriting and administrative tools and systems.
