Description :

Position available for an RN in Geriatric Psychiatry.

Shift is from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Weekly guaranteed hours are 36.

No call requirements.

The unit contains 21 beds, with a patient ratio of 2-3 RNs for 21 patients, supported by 2 Mental Health Technicians and 1 Psych Caregiver.

The unit treats acute psychiatric patients.

Equipment includes standard nursing tools.

The Electronic Medical Record system used is Cerner.

Candidates should excel at de-escalation.

Dress code includes wearing Galaxy Blue scrubs.

Unacceptable attire includes black or galaxy blue bottoms.

Experience with CPI and Cerner is preferred.

The facility provides a full continuum of behavioral health and substance use services.

Specialized units are available for various patient needs, including children and adolescents.

Comprehensive treatment options are offered, including partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs.
