This technical / functional leader role is primarily responsible for defining product strategy, vision, and product roadmaps from ideation to launch for complex products, and making decisions on new products or enhancements to bring to market. This includes leading the development of product enhancements based on validated learnings, serving as a lead facilitator and consultant for product teams and diverse stakeholder groups across the organization, and partnering with operations teams and market stakeholders to support product adoption. This role is also responsible for leading internal and external discovery for new and existing products, identifying best in class marketplace innovation, driving prototyping and validation with end users, ensuring learnings are funneled to product roadmaps, overseeing efforts to track outcomes and key performance indicators, and leading and overseeing product team members to solve user problems on complex issues.

Essential responsibilities include conducting or overseeing business-specific projects, practicing self-leadership and promoting learning in others, defining product strategy and vision, serving as a lead facilitator and consultant, leading internal and external discovery for new and existing products, overseeing the tracking of key performance indicators, and leading and overseeing product team members to solve user problems for complex issues.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and minimum eight years of experience in product management, project management, IT consulting, product development or support, business / system analysis, or a directly related field. Additional equivalent work experience may substitute for the degree requirement. Preferred qualifications include three years of product owner experience, a master's degree in a relevant field, five years of experience implementing large or complex projects or programs, two years of healthcare experience, three years of experience delivering presentations to senior management, and three years of programming / coding experience.
