Medication Assistance Coordinator

A company is looking for a Medication Assistance Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

Assist patients and families in accessing financial resources for medications

Evaluate financial situations of uninsured or under-insured patients to determine eligibility for medication assistance

Liaison with Patient Financial Services and the Clinical Team to resolve medication payment and coverage issues

Required Qualifications and Education

Associates degree or higher in health sciences, public health, or a similar field, and / or Certified Pharmacy Technician training

Completion of a medical terminology course or proficiency

Minimum of five years of experience in retail or specialty pharmacy, healthcare collection, or related fields
