Read on to learn more. Qualifications : An Associates or Baccalaureate degree in Medical Laboratory Science with Board Certification(ASCP).
Work Hours and Compensation : The work schedule is from 2 : 30 pm to 11 : 00 pm, and will include rotating weekends. Hourly rates range from $24.
50 to $37 for MLTs and $28 to $37 for MTs, depending on experience. Shift differential pay is $2.50 per hour for the second shift and $5.
00 per hour for nights. Additionally, a sign-on bonus of $15, and a comprehensive benefits package are provided. Responsibilities : As a Laboratory Technician, you will perform laboratory tests to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
You will also assist in the collection, processing, and analysis of tests ordered by physicians. Your duties will include maintaining quality control, calibration, and performing instrument maintenance.
