Digital Fundraising Manager Starting Salary :

• $88,000-100,000 Location : Washington, DC (Hybrid – in office Tues-Thurs) Travel Requirements : 0-10% Reports To : Digital Director Timeline : Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis with a projected late Q3 / early Q4 start date.
• Position Summary 314 Action is the nation’s largest organization dedicated to electing Democratic scientists and STEM leaders who will champion facts, fight extremism, and deliver progressive change—at every level of government from the U.S.
• Senate to local school boards. 314 Action Fund is seeking a Digital Fundraising Manager to help scale our grassroots digital program as we head into the most consequential elections in modern history.
• This mid-career role is ideal for someone with 4–6 years of experience supporting or managing grassroots digital fundraising programs at a campaign, agency, or political / advocacy organization.
• Familiarity with CRMs like ActionKit is a plus.
• The Manager will work closely with the Digital Director to execute strategy while owning day-to-day deliverables like drafting and producing emails, leading reporting and analysis, and coordinating with vendors and internal teams.
• This role requires strong copywriting, technical skills, and the ability to manage projects independently.
• High performance positions the Manager for advancement into a Senior Manager role as the program grows.
• Responsibilities Include Draft, produce and test HTML and CSS based assets such as emails, landing pages, templates, and SMS message blasts for our day-to-day email and text broadcast fundraising and advocacy campaigns Collaborate and execute novel and innovative approaches to digital fundraising across platforms like email and text Draft engaging copy, whether on behalf of the organization or key candidates (including rapid-response and long-form) Manage quality assurance for all digital communications.
• Lead reporting and analysis to evaluate program performance using our data reporting tools.
• Opportunities to pitch new ideas, creative segmenting, and micro / localized sends to bundle for downballot candidates Collaborate and work closely with the Digital Director and relevant staff and affiliated digital vendors on department and organizational needs and projects Provide input on list growth, segmentation, and digital advertising campaigns.
• Collaborate with our Comms team and execute digital campaigns as we grow our digital footprint through earned media, press hits, and digital storytelling on platforms like Substack, Threads, Instagram Occasional website maintenance and assistance providing strategy for email acquisition and direct-to-donate advertising campaigns Preferred Qualifications Proficiency with HTML / CSS and digital production workflows. 4–6 years of experience managing grassroots digital fundraising programs (campaign, agency, or political / advocacy organization), for a larger program (250k+ records).
• Proven success writing fundraising copy for email and SMS.
• Experience managing vendors or external partners.
• Strong analytical skills and experience reporting on performance data and debugging.
• Experience with graphic design or branding is a plus but not required Experience with ads or web development is a plus but not required Experience tracking and reporting data on digital performance Commitment to electing pro-science Democratic candidates and advancing equity and inclusion in politics.
