Base Pay Range : $91,600.00 - $155,700.00 Annually

The Finance organization consists of operations and corporate finance teams. The operations finance team influences business decisions by gathering the best available operations information, distilling it and making recommendations to our management team on the best course of action.

The corporate team provides a broad range of services, such as financial planning, corporate accounting, tax, industry analysis and benchmarking, internal audits, SEC reporting and merger and acquisition support.

Job Description / Preferred Qualifications

Tax department is looking for a multifaceted individual who can communicate effectively across various functional areas and has excellent hands-on problem-solving, and analytical skills.

This person will elevate the operational efficiency and data management in the tax department.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization to understand business objectives and provide technological support.

Design and implement technology / process improvement projects.

Maintain and improve internal and external applications as needed by tax and finance teams.

Build and maintain visual analytics for tax and finance.

Design, develop, and maintain data models for interactive visual analytics in Power BI.

Recommend and / or implement solutions surrounding the extraction, transformation, and storing of data sets.

Interpret data and translate trends in key performance indicators to build predictive forecasts for collaborators.

Develop and enforce data governance policies to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness by implementing data validations.

Develop creative efficient solutions to unstructured issues.

Stay up-to-date with current industry trends, applications, and methods related to data analysis.

Document tax technology requirements, processes, and procedures.

Serve as mentor and subject matter authority for tax team members.

Serve as a liaison between tax and IT functions to support the various technology projects.

Minimum Qualifications

• 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years' experience.
• Experience in data management, data manipulation, and data visualization. Preferably in tax / finance function.
• Proficiency in database querying language (e.g., SQL, GraphQL, LINQ).
• Experience with Microsoft 365 suite, Alteryx, SAP, and Snowflake.
• Experience with generative AI a plus.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to changing environments.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong ability to apply standard methodologies to organize and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work independently as well as with collaborators.
• Multifaceted, meticulous, and analytical problem solver with goal towards efficiency and process improvement.
