Bookkeeper - Accountant Level
We are looking for a Bookkeeper - Accountant Level who will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring the accuracy of financial information for a business. This role requires a deeper understanding of accounting principles than a standard bookkeeper, including handling more complex financial tasks.
Key Responsibilities :
Financial Recordkeeping :
- Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and accounts payable / receivable.
- Manage bank and credit card reconciliations.
Financial Reporting :
Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.Assist in creating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.Tax Preparation and Compliance :
Assist in tax return preparation by organizing financial data and preparing documentation for external accountants.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws, filing necessary forms.Accounts Management :
Oversee accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely billing and collections.Monitor and manage payroll, expense reimbursements, and other financial obligations.Auditing and Internal Controls :
Assist in auditing processes by providing accurate financial data and supporting documents.Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.Budgeting and Forecasting :
Support the preparation of company budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.Provide analysis and insights to management regarding financial performance and areas for improvement.
