Job descriptionComprehend and follow blueprints in accordance with required specifications Working from blueprint, sketches or written or verbal instructions, plan and layout raw material, plates, angles, channels, tubing, pipe, etc. in accordance with specifications where close tolerance (+ or -") is required Perform minor adjustments to machines as needed Perform rigging, lifting and moving of product using cranes, forklifts, etc. Must know, understand, and abide by all plant safety rules and regulation Must be able to operate an assortment of fabrication machinery or equipment, i.e. drill press, drills, hand grinders, hand plasma cutter, etc. Must have at least 1 years of fabrication experience High school diploma or GED Must be able to use a computer to read and understand prints Must be motivated and work well by yourself and as a team Must have willingness to learn Work environment : Manufacturing environment. Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. on a regular basis Must be able to stand for long periods of time on cement surface and will be required to regularly bend, stretch, stoop, squat, climb ladders and perform work in confined positions. Full time.
