Executive Director at the Oklahoma Legislative Office of Fiscal Transparency
The Legislative Service Bureau is seeking a programming analyst to assist in developing, testing, and maintaining applications by evaluating users requirements and specifications. The Programmer Analysts responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following tasks :
- Proficiency in Python and the Django web framework.
- Solid understanding of JSON and its use in API communication.
- Maintaining and modifying existing software modules in Visual Studio (all versions).
- Maintaining and modifying various Microsoft Office Templates / Macros in VBA.
- Creating and maintaining web-based applications with Oracle database as the back end.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Writing scripts to accomplish maintenance tasks.
- Providing references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation.
Education and Experience
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Computer Science / Information Systems.3+ years of experience with programming in Visual Studio.Experience with Oracle databases is a plus.Additional Requirements
