Our Columbus, Ohio client has an opening for a Content Operations Support contractor who is needed to support the Bibliographic, Cataloging, and Candidate Title Acquisition teams as the client continues to expand content coverage. This area of is responsible for acquiring the world’s non-patent literature in chemistry and related sciences and for ensuring the accuracy of bibliographic data on the databases.
- Candidates must be willing to be onsite and they will be eligible to participate in the hybrid schedule.
Qualifications :
College education is preferred.Experience working in a library and with a Library Management System is a plus.Excellent interpersonal communication skills, an ability to interact effectively with staff and management.Strong attention to detail.Some experience with accounting and invoice / receipt reports is desirable.Initiative.Fast learner with strong problem-solving skills.Well-organized and detail oriented. Responsive.Demonstrated intermediate to advanced PC and Microsoft skills, especially with Excel.Excellent knowledge of searching the web.Ability to learn system tools and to learn new procedures quickly and accurately.Additional language skills are a plus but not a requirement.Key Responsibilities :
Identify and correct errors in bibliographic content of electronic documents.Identify and resolve problems with documents that fail to make it through the production process.Prepare evaluation packets for newly launched publications for possible inclusion in client databases.Create and track orders.Support various projects and perform other duties as needed.
