Lead Superintendent

Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

\n

Manage on-site construction activities from start to finish, including subcontractors, schedules, inspections, and site logistics.

\n

Coordinate and supervise all construction activities to ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and local codes.

\n

Maintain daily logs, safety records, and project documentation.

\n

Schedule inspections and manage relationships with city officials and permitting agencies in the Miami-Dade area.

\n

Ensure strict adherence to project timelines and budgets.

\n

Monitor job site safety, enforce compliance with OSHA standards, and conduct regular safety meetings.

\n

Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to resolve issues and keep stakeholders informed.

\n

Proactively identify and mitigate potential delays or quality issues.

\n \n

Qualifications : \n

5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction , preferably in the Miami / South Florida region.

\n

Proven experience managing ground-up and / or major renovation projects ranging from $1M to $20M+ .

\n

Solid knowledge of building codes, permitting processes, and inspection requirements specific to Miami-Dade County .

\n

Strong leadership and communication skills; able to manage teams and subcontractors effectively.

\n

Ability to read and interpret construction documents, blueprints, and schedules (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar software experience preferred).

\n

Fluent in English; Spanish fluency is a plus.

\n

OSHA 30 Certification required; First Aid / CPR preferred.

\n

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
