About The Position

Job Title : Certified Surgical Tech - CVOR

Profession : Surgical Tech

Specialty : Surgical Services

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 10 Hour Variable

Hours per Shift : 40

Experience : 2 years of OR Level 1 or 2 trauma experience

License : Certified Surgical Technologist

Certifications : BLS, CST-NBSTA (Preferred)

Must-Have :

Proficiency in Neuro, Trauma, ENT, Robotics.

Davinci XI and Craniotomy experience is required for Trauma.

Description :

Handle surgical procedures within the operating room.

Work with patients undergoing surgeries in various specialties including Urology, Neuro, Ortho, Robotic, General, Podiatry, and ENT.

Follow patient ratios : OR 1 : 1, Pre-Op 1 : 2, PACU Phase I - 1 : 1 or 1 : 2 based on acuity, PACU Phase II - 1 : 2-3.

Float to Central Sterile Processing as needed.

Participate in a weekend rotation schedule.

Take call as needed based on department requirements.

Respond to call needs within 15 minutes.

Meet holiday expectations of 2 out of 4 major holidays.

Approvable time off must be arranged with management.
