Buckeye Power Sales is a Growth-Oriented Company Seeking an Equipment Sales Manager responsible for our Rental Power Construction Division!
Buckeye Power Sales has been providing on site power solutions for businesses, contractors, engineers, municipalities and homeowners since 1947, which makes us the oldest Kohler generator distributor in the country.
We are also a distributor of Siemens Energy engines and generators for a wide range of power generation applications such as combined heat and power, waste to power, prime, and continuous.
From power generation to light construction to grounds care we have the machines, equipment, parts, programs & service to help you get the job done.

Our Equipment Sales Managers are responsible for the profitable inventorying and renting of equipment required to meet the needs of customers requiring temporary power, power distribution, and construction equipment.
Our Equipment Sales Managers are responsible for :
- Providing excellent customer service , internal and external
- Fluent in following business and sales processes
- Key relationship management
- Previous experience in management and associated responsibilities
- Collaborating with Power Construction Equipment Operations Manager and other BPS Managers
- Developing and coaching team members
- Responsible for profit & loss of Power and Construction Equipment department
- Actively promoting BPS to customers and potential customers
- Visiting customer job sites as needed for sales / estimating / customer service purposes
- Providing recommendations and develop strategies on how to improve quality and quantity of services provided
- Seeking and continuously develop knowledge and information about the products offered
- Attending meetings and contribute to company strategy and policy-making as required

Requirements :
Equipment Sales Manager Job Requirements :
- Conforms with the core values of BPS
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 18+ years of age
- 2 yrs prior customer service experience desired
- Basic knowledge of the workings of equipment or willingness and ability to train and enhance knowledge
- Previous Management and sales experience preferred
- Valid driver's license; able to meet and maintain insurance criteria for insurability
- DOT Medical Card
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English
- Excellent customer service skills
- Intermediate math skills
- Proven ability to pay attention to detail
- Able to work well unsupervised; able to work independently
- Able to work flexible hours including occasional overtime
- Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task required
- Computer skills to include MS office products (Word, Excel, Outlook); data entry
- Resourceful; able to use Internet search engines
- Must represent the company in a positive manner at all times
- Must be able to pass background check and periodic drug screens
