Online Content Specialist
The Online Content Specialist independently leads the execution of website design, UI, UX optimization as well as search engine optimization for a predefined book of business;
a subset of Lithia’s almost 300 dealership locations as well as the national Lithia brands like Lithia.com, Driveway.com, GreenCars.
com, Lithia4Kids.com and Investors Relations website. The Online Content Specialist is expected to take personal ownership of the virtual showrooms he / she is assigned to oversee, by ensuring their content is accurate, optimized, and timely.
The Online Content Specialist reports to Website Strategy Manager.
Location : Remote, USA
Compensation Range : $45,000 - $65,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Website development and optimization for mobile and desktop
- Test and provide best practices formats for website design, UI and UX
- Leverage industry tools to identify common search trends and areas of shoppers’ interest
- Research and procure content to build unique SEO value of sites, based on keyword and trend analysis
- Use best practices for meta titles, meta descriptions, H1 -H3 headlines and image alt & title tags
- Develop and program email blasts
- Pro-actively manage website accuracy and content relevance (per manufacturer product and incentive cycle)
- Keep up with Lithia events and propose content
- Keep up with OEM product releases and vehicle refreshes and propose content
- Collaborate with IRC to fix any website bugs
- Collaborate with Marketing Managers to build custom landing pages for email blasts
- Create content assets for website
- Actively reach out to vendor partners and keep up with product enhancements
- Ensure proper tagging in Google Analytics
- Ensure proper UTM codes are appended
- Suggest creative and design testing
- Conduct regular website audits
- Collaborate with and manage website partners Dealer.com, Dealer Inspire, DealerOn, Finsweet, etc.
- Actively monitor organic website performance in your market
- Participate in dealership consults as requested
- Assist Marketing Manager in preparation of dealership meetings
- Evaluate site speed and prepare optimization tactics
- Place, document and manage 3rd party scripts
- Coordinate with Marketing Manager for dealership priorities
- Coordinate with Laura and Kelsey for OEM compliance changes
- Collaborate with LAD tech on creative assets
- May be required to design and optimize images for web
