Start your day excited to make a difference and end it knowing you did. We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Operating Room at Mary Washington Healthcare in Saint Charles. This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to join a collaborative healthcare team while enjoying a rewarding work-life balance.

What You'll Do

  • Direct and coordinate nursing care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Engage with patients, families, and healthcare team members in care planning.
  • Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient care.
  • Assist in defining standards of excellence for patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and performance enhancement.
  • Support the orientation of new staff members.
  • Act as a resource for hospital policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to daily operational activities for a safe environment.

What You'll Bring

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program with RN experience.
  • A minimum of 1 year of Operating Room RN experience is required.
  • A valid RN License from Virginia or a reciprocal compact state.
  • BSN is preferred.
  • AHA BLS Provider CPR certification required at hire.

    This part-time Registered Nurse position is located in Saint Charles, with day shifts available. The role comes with a competitive salary and a significant sign-on bonus for qualifying external candidates.
