Job descriptionCollaborate closely with the emergency department to manage airway emergencies and other critical situations. Handle responsibilities in an open ICU setting including ventilator management, central lines, and intubation. Support attending hospitalist throughout the shift, ensuring high-quality patient care. Coordinate with various specialty consultants including Nephrology, Tele-ICU, Tele-Psych, and Radiology. Utilize Cerner EMR system for documentation and patient management. The role involves collaboration with an emergency department and a dedicated COVID team in a Trauma facility with an open ICU.
