Role Overview :
Nuclear Medicine Technologists are vital in performing diagnostic tests and aiding in medical research. You will administer small doses of radioactive drugs and use advanced imaging equipment to capture images. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct nuclear medicine procedures, routine tests, and therapies.Engage in Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives.Follow established policies and safety guidelines.Comply with regulatory or accreditation standards.Qualifications :
Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.Completion of a Nuclear Medicine program.(ARRT NM) certification or eligibility to complete within 9 months.Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.Minimum one year of hospital experience in Nuclear Medicine.Ability to accurately complete sonography requisitions.Experience with filing systems for Radiology reports.Skilled in operation of nuclear medicine equipment and office tools.Effective communication with patients and medical staff.Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.Research Medical Center is a comprehensive hospital with over 585 beds, offering a variety of services such as obstetrics, trauma care, and specialized treatment centers.
