Valeo Resources has partnered with a substance abuse and mental health organization. We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time RN / LPN to join the team in Delray Beach, FL ! In this role, you will be working with adults suffering from SUD / mental health disorders.

Detox Setting Schedule :
- FT Days, 36 hour RN / LPN Position
- 12 hour shifts
- T, Wed, Sat
- 7A-7P
PHP / IOP / OP Setting Schedule :
FT 40 hour RN / LPN position8 hour shiftsM-F7A-3PDuties :
The staff nurse is a registered professional nurse who coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. The staff nurse must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, based on physical, psycho / social, educational, safety and related criteria. Clients are monitored on a 24 - hour basis and provided with a high level of medical, dietary and therapeutic care throughout their stay.
Essential Duties :
Completes the following documentation within 24 hours of the patient's admission to the program :Nursing Admission Assessment, Suicide Risk Assessment and Psychotropic Medication Authorization forms.Transcribes physician's orders and implement all medical protocols as orderedAdministers medications and monitors acute symptoms of psychiatric instability.Confers with and assists the Medical Director and APRNsAttends and participate in all "in-service" functionsAssists with emergency situations and make immediate referralsProvides documentation which reflects services for each patient in accordance with licensure standardsMaintains the confidential nature of all patients and facility activitiesMaintains required training & continuing EducationMaintains standards of ethical conductComplies with all policies and proceduresMeets with patients requesting to see the doctor to determine the urgency of their medical needs and expedite treatment as requiredEffectively communicates concerns about patient health to the Medical Director and APRNs and follows up as necessaryUnder the supervision of the Nursing Director, assists in educating patients about health problems and medical careFacilitates medication education for new patients and for all other patients starting new medicationsMeets with therapists to provide information about patient medical problemsAssists the treatment team in incorporating medical issues into treatment planningTakes verbal orders from the Medical Director and / or APRNs, documents them in the patient record and carries them out accurately and professionallyCommunicate patient needs to the clinical team and / or operations team as neededNecessary Qualification :
A minimum of one (1) year experience in a psychiatric health-care facilityCurrent Florida State Registered Nurse LicenseCurrent CPR CertificationCPI TrainingKnowledge of appropriate nursing assessment, diagnoses, & interventions with patients.Ability to accurately administer medication and monitor side-effects.Demonstrates Proficiency in Communication & Written skills.Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality laws.Experience :
A minimum of one (1) year experience in a psychiatric health-care facility treating co-occurring, mentally ill, or chemically dependent patients, with understanding of co-occurring disorders.Salary Ranges :
LPN $28-$31 RN $32-$35 / Hourly
