Role Overview

Design, prototype, and deliver the electromechanical systems that let our Neo move, grasp, and last. From junior to staff, own subsystems end-to-end : concept → detail design → test → iterate →volume production.

• Design mechanical parts and electromechanical subsystems (frames, limbs, joints, power transmission systems, etc)
• Perform structural FEA to reach optimum stiffness to weight ratio and achieve our fatigue life criteria
• Select and integrate motors, sensors, PCBAs, cabling...
• DFx : manufacturability, assembly, cost, serviceability
• Build and break prototypes, iterate quickly
