Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in Elgin, IL is seeking a dedicated social worker to join their team on a contract basis for the 2025-2026 school year. This .5 FTE position will be based at one of the elementary schools within the district, providing direct support to students, families, and staff.

Responsibilities :

• Deliver in-person social work services to students, addressing behavioral, emotional, and social challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement intervention plans.
• Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions as needed.
• Conduct assessments to identify student needs and coordinate resources to support academic and social success.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in pliance with school policies.
