Project Scope :
The Security Architect will work as a Security Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer within the Division of Information Security. The role involves implementing, integrating, and operationalizing security technologies, as well as developing automation for integration among security tools.
This position requires expertise in information security architecture and solution design, supporting strategic planning, design, and secure implementation of new systems and changes to existing systems. Initial contract is 12 months with a possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure proper identity management, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Active Directory, and application configurations to support IT and security operations.
- Develop and implement automation for disparate security and enterprise IT tools.
- Plan, design, develop, and implement enterprise security solutions aligned with business goals and risk tolerance.
- Design, deploy, and manage countermeasures against known security threats; develop preventative strategies for new and emerging threats to enterprise data, networks, and services.
- Ensure consistent application of protective measures across enterprise business applications and infrastructure; take appropriate action to safeguard state data and technology services.
Required Skills & Experience :
5+ years expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM), logging, and reporting systems.5+ years experience in automation development using Python and Bash.Strong cybersecurity awareness and understanding.5+ years experience with Linux, Windows, and network security protocols.5+ years experience supporting large IT environments and / or system deployments.Preferred Skills :
SIEM analysis and reporting.Knowledge of security frameworks : NIST, CSF, CJIS, IRS 1075, CMS MARS-E.Application security (AppSec).CISSP, CISA, CISO, or equivalent advanced security certification.Additional certifications (e.g., CEH, OSCP, GPEN).Requirements
