Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Springfield, Illinois.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty : PCU - Progressive Care Unit
• Discipline : RN

• Duration : 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift : 12 hours, days
• Employment Type : Travel
• License : Must have an active IL license in hand
• Required Certs : ACLS and BLS required (AHA and Red Cross only; RQI cards not accepted).
• Experience REQ : MS / Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Tele, PCU / DOU / IMC / Stepdown.
• Cardiac Skills : Interpretation / Management of dysrhythmias, Post Cardiac Angiogram, Pre / Post Cardiac Cath, Sheath Removal, TR band .
• Drip Skills REQ : Heparin Protocols, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, PCA (Patient-Controlled Analgesia).
• IV / Line Skills REQ : Arterial line management, Accessing Ports, Central line care / management, PICC line management, Blood Product Administration.
• Respiratory Skills REQ : Chest tubes (Emerson / Pleur-evac), External CPAP / BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC).
• Experience Preferred : Previous Charge Experience, Teaching hospital experience, Level I Trauma experience.
