Position Description :
Job Title : Housekeeping Supervisor.
Division : Home 2 Suites.
Department : Housekeeping.
ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE :
- Reports To : Executive Housekeeper, General Manager.
- Direct Subordinates : Housekeepers, Laundry Workers, Lobby Attendants.
SCOPE :
Supervises the daily activities of the housekeeping and laundry team, inspects suites and public areas for cleanliness and oversees service and quality standards to ensure guest satisfaction.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Supervises and coordinates the operations of the housekeeping and laundry areas to ensure the achievement of department cleanliness; productivity and service standards.Inspects guest rooms / suites, corridors, and commercial areas daily to ensure adherence to established cleanliness standards and property amenity and literature placement. Inspects for needed repairs, reports maintenance problems immediately, and follows up to ensure the work has been completed.Performs all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming, and cleaning guest suites, to ensure guest satisfaction.Schedules staff and work according to productivity standards and forecasted occupancy.Responds to all guest room / suite housekeeping-related requests promptly, ideally within 10 minutes if at all possible.Operates laundry and coordinates cleaning and delivery of guest linens to the housekeeping team. Implements all guest linen maintenance, inventory, and ordering programs.Ensures that housekeepers have a sufficient amount of necessary supplies through regular supply inventory and ordering procedures.Coordinates with Guest Services daily to ensure guest special requests are met (arrival packages, VIP needs, early check-ins, etc.).Performs other duties as requested by hotel management.QUALIFICATIONS :
A high school diploma or equivalent and two years of prior Housekeeping supervisory experience are preferred.SKILLS :
Guest service and detailed oriented.Good oral and written communication skills.Strong organizational abilities.PHYSICAL / COGNITIVE ACTIVITIES :
